Successful All Team Retreat: Teambuilding, Refocus and Planning

In April, the complete (nine member) GSS/P Team spent three days stepping away from our daily routine and computers to focus on time together, strategic goal setting, and more. This was the first time our current complete team has all been face to face and I am so grateful we were able to spend this time together, taking a step back from our daily work and focusing on our team dynamics and planning!
Special shoutout to our incredible and skilled facilitator Carmela Ariza for her thoughtful design, amazing process, and encouragement and holding space for the challenging, important, and meaningful plans and lessons we all learned during this process. A theme of the retreat was healing and my closing words yesterday centered on: restoration, cohesion, wealth, and abundance. This is my continued hope for this incredible team and our growing impact and work.
I could not be more proud of this collection of individuals each committed to our values and mission and collectively working to ensure this advocacy spreads in thoughtful, intentional, and critical ways.
We are all feeling the pressure of our current times as a world, but this is only emboldening our collective commitment to our shared mission of building seed sovereignty across the Philippines. So to my colleagues, thank you all for being authentic, vulnerable, and fully present for our retreat process and to our supporters thank you for continuing to invest in this critically important work now more than ever!
